Mnemonic major system

Fun little experiment morning of 2023-11-22: with some feedback and guidance, I could get GPT-4 to generate good mnemonic phrases for numbers I want to remember. e.g. the permittivity of free space is 8.85x10^-12 F/m. It suggested “vaffle dino”. A dinosaur made of waffle! Great image! Was able to generate a pretty good visualization too, though it had trouble iterating in the way I wanted.

Something like this would be good for Cell Biology by the Numbers and similar.

Q. Mnemonic for 0?
A. /s/, /z/ (zero starts with /z/)

Q. Mnemonic for 1?
A. /t/, /d/, /th/ (T and D have one vertical stroke each)

Q. Mnemonic for 2?
A. /n/ (N has two vertical strokes and two points on the baseline)

Q. Mnemonic for 3?
A. /m/ (m has three vertical strokes and three points on the baseline)

Q. Mnemonic for 4?
A. /r/ (“four” ends with ‘r’)

Q. Mnemonic for 5?
A. /l/ (L is the roman numeral for 50; left hand makes an “L”)

Q. Mnemonic for 6?

Q. Mnemonic for 7?
A. k, hard c, hard g; (K looks like two small 7’s on their sides)

Q. Mnemonic for 8?
A. f, ph, v (cursive ‘f’ looks like a figure 8)

Q. Mnemonic for 9?
A. p, b (P looks like 9 flipped horizontally, b looks like 9 turned 180°)
