Woke at 7:15 (+8.25h). Felt good. Didn’t nap over the weekend. Nap: 3:03->3:35. Feel pretty good post-nap. Back to desk at 3:48. Slow-headed in the afternoon and very groggy in the evening.

Woke at 7:15 (+8h). Felt somewhat groggy. Woke up a fair amount last night: was quite congested, had trouble getting the CPAP clear. Tried to nap too late, I think, at 3:30. Didn’t get to sleep.

Woke at 6:50 (+7.5h). Felt quite groggy upon waking but pretty good now that I’m at my desk. Nap: 2:30 -> 2:55. Woke up feeling pretty good!

Woke at 6:30 (+7.5h) to an accidental alarm from Sara, stayed in bed until 6:55. Feel OK this morning. Nap: 2:30 -> 3:13. Woke up feeling quite groggy. Sort of drugged. Maybe the lunchtime pizza…

Woke 6 AM (+7h), then dozed until 7. Quite groggy this morning; got to the desk at 8:30. Nap: 2:33 -> 2:58. Intense, vivid dreams. That’s been happening the past few days, actually.

Woke 6:50. Still recovering from jet leg (returned 2021-07-01); took 100mg Modafinil. Feeling really not at all tired or dull-headed as I begin my work today. First time that’s been true since returning to SF. Good!

Napped at 1:48 (7h after waking), woke at 2:28 feeling good. Nice! Surprised I could nap with modafinil.

Felt energetic through the evening. Went to sleep at 11.

Woke up at 6:15 today, feeling pretty groggy this morning.

Tried to nap around 2:50. Slept for maybe 5-10 minutes. Didn’t feel very deep. Feel pretty energized going into the afternoon.

Woke up around 6:45 this morning. Moderate energy levels. No nap (Saturday).

Didn’t nap today: things were too tight between dinner and the several calls I had scheduled.

Woke up at 7:15. Felt dehydrated but pretty awake. I notice that I’m still sleeping 8 hours despite the naps. May take some time to kick in. Did a full mug of coffee this morning again.

Napped from 3:15 to 4:15. Took a bit to fall asleep, but then fell asleep more deeply than I have before. Woke up pretty groggy.

Woke up at 7:30, feeling good. Took a nap at 2:30. Took me a while to get to sleep but I did briefly sleep. Felt good, focus- and restfulness-wise. I have some calls today, but I’lll do my best to keep it up.

Woke up at about 6 today but feel pretty good this morning. Tried to take a nap at 2:30. Slept for maybe 10m, was in bed for 30. Today I did a mug of coffee first thing then green tea in the afternoon after nap.

Much higher degree of focus than has been typical for me. Not sure what to attribute that to, but I’ll keep an eye on it. If I really want to follow Circadian dip, after Wozniak, I’ll need to wake up earlier. A bit tricky.

Woke up around 8:15 this morning, still feeling groggy (went to sleep at 11PM last night, didn’t nap either day). Having trouble pinning my focus down this morning. Tried to take a nap at 2:30; couldn’t get to sleep.

Woke up about 7 o’clock. I’ve been feeling super groggy all morning. No nap today (Sunday).

Woke at 6:30, then fell back asleep until a bit after 7. Felt groggy this morning. No nap today (Saturday).

This morning I started stirring around 5:30 but slept until 7AM—so still about 8 hours. I didn’t feel appreciably different than I normally feel in the morning. I tried to nap today around 2PM. Spent half an hour, don’t think I fell asleep.

Fell asleep at 11, was quite quick as usual.

Inspired by Circadian dip, after Wozniak, I started experimenting with afternoon naps. I took a 25m nap. I felt much more energetic in the evening than usual. Going to sleep around 11PM, I felt much less tired than usual. It took me maybe a few more minutes to go to sleep than usual.
