A non-profit fellowship organized by Maran Nelson. Gathers 50-100 young people each year and gives them funding and social/cultural support for their projects. About half of these turn into businesses; some do fairly well.
As of 2021, Interact is raising a fund of its own (it previously arranged funding through partnerships with external VCs). They hope to fund public goods through the success of their fundees. In particular, they’re exploring a model in which all equity past 2% is owned not by the fund’s LPs but by the organization itself, which it can use to start an endowment. They’re evaluating using a token or DAO for this purpose.
