Samadhi

In the Theravada tradition, samadhi refers to continuous attention on a specific Meditation object.

This kind of attention is challenging to cultivate. Per The Mind Illuminated - Culadasa: “the untrained mind produces {distractions} that lead to {forgetting}, which results in {mind-wandering}.”
