Twitter threads could be an interesting context for the mnemonic medium

Tim Rooney made a Mochi deck representing the content of another Twitter thread he found interesting, then published that deck on Twitter: Tim Rooney on Twitter: “Experiment: https://t.co/0UaVll6ImV for Twitter threadsI built a flashcard deck to help retain this fantastic Qatar thread (~70 tweets long)https://t.co/4mxrPgDSOg”

There’s a huge amount of friction to that workflow, and it’s way too out-of-band, but it’s a fun design prompt:

How might we allow anyone to remember the details of a Twitter thread, almost effortlessly?

Each tweet could contain a URL pointing to cards capturing that tweet’s info. Or a final tweet in a tweet storm could include a URL for the entire thread. Either approach requires navigating away from Twitter, which is a bit unfortunate. A browser extension could allow inline display of flashcards, akin to some of the strategies described in How might we adapt existing texts to the mnemonic medium, without participation of the author?
